to gain, caring not for the interest of our Kuomintang and Nation, shall be liable to reasonable punishment.
(8) Any British goods imported without permission in violat- ion of regulation (I) shall be seized by the Searching Department, which shall submit them to the Executive Committe when the Investigation Department has ascertained that they are British goods. Should they have any doubt about them,
they shall refer them to the Examination Committee, and on
confirmation by the latter, they shall submit them to the
Executive Committee for confiscation. In case of any wilful
offence, in addition to the confiscation of the goods, the
Lan or shop responsible for the smuggling shall be severely
punished.
(9) Any British goods imported without a pass or under a pass that has been used, in violation of the Regulation (II) shall be seized by the Searching Department, which shall submit them to the Executive Committee when the Investigation
Department has ascertained that they are British goods.
Should they have any doubt about them, they shall refer them
to the Examination Committee, and on confirmation by the
latter, they shall submit them to the Executive Committee
for confiscation. Should any British goods imported under
a pass, not correspond with the declaration made by the
applicant in number of packages, quality and weight, a fine
of 10 to 20% of the value of the whole consignment shall be
imposed according to the nature of the offence.
(10) When any British goods are imported without due
investigation by the Investigation Department and a pass
issued by them in violation of Regulation (III), a half of
the whole consignment shall be confiscated on discovery.
Should any British goods be imported under the disguise of
the trade marks of any native product or goods of any other
foreign country, besides the confiscation of the whole
consignment
